Looks like your family of appliances needed to be up dated and the others retired to the junk yard. Cost more to repair these days than to just by a new one wit an extended warrenty.

That's what I think. I think the previous owner took the newer appliances with them and replaced them with salvaged ones from a 2nd hand store. Nothing matched and this place is newer than that. The clothes washer went in the first year of living here. thxs for reviewing, Barb

One of our land lord did that too. He was a skinflint. He hated to do repairs. I reminded him it was he duty to keep up the repairs since they came with the building.
Grr he growled on his way to the appliance store ,🙈

Ya I had a shoddy landlord too, they put in a real door to my bedroom and the space above the frame of doorway to the ceiling, was never painted over the drywall mud. on both sides of the wall. that's when you know your building is becoming a slum building. I was in it for 35 yrs

Well, Lulube, it's winter just place your stuff outside it should stay good if it's not stolen. :) Been there and done that, it seems like nothing works when you need them. But baby blue should just about do if the cash is right. Keep cool and throw that frig out.

Trying to get to that throwing out day. I've been using 2 coolers and bar fridge outside for weeks now. Our B & W store lets you take 1-2 bags of ice for free when you buy, so there is my daily source to keep everything cold. thxs for comments and review

Ha! Cute poem. I really enjoyed it. I don't know if it's the website or what, but the formatting seems a little awkward. Are the commas intended to create separate lines? It looks a little cramped. My suggestion would be to play around with the formatting and see what happens. This part made me laugh out loud:
"So watching the refrigerator man attacking the ice build-up inside
The subjected fridge, with a carving knife, was an alarming technique
That I always knew to be taboo, but I wanted to use it now
I think I'm ready for an oopsy from the blade, rupturing beyond repair"
Happy writing!

I know the feeling. Had to buy a new deep freeze the other day. The old one was still freezing, but not very deeply. Whenever My electrical appliances give up the ghost I usually blame the mice. No seriously, Welsh mice have developed a taste for the plastic insulation on the electric wiring. For them it is a thrill, like Russian roulette, and they go out in a blinding flash when they get it right - or wrong depending on your point of view.

lol, truth or dare for some eh? lol Don't jynx me, my freezer is the only thing that hasn't blown up, oh and the dryer. I think the good appliances were taken and salvaged ones were replaced . Nothing matched. And they won't be matching again. thxs for your humorous review
