Writer's block? You must come in at the door...
Very good, and very much in your style (you have a strong voice) - I was expecting a supernatural twist. Nice and tight and a fresh turn of phrase in "blood pebbled" (fresh for me, at least).
Overall, nicely knocked out - and I mean that as a complement: it is efficient, interesting and polished.
I wish you well with your continued writing.

This was so good. I had no idea what to expect and it wasn't that but Bravo. The ending caught me by surprise. You basically wrote about my 2020 writing journey.

I didn't see this ending coming, for sure, but it does make sense.
How many of us use our computers to imagine great things, but
then find that we don't have what it takes to get it done. I found
this to be quite an interesting story.

Hi Gareth,
I recall that old campfire song. "Ya gotta go through the door!"
It seems like you've hit a brick wall. Is this why I haven't seen any posts from you in a while? Writer's Block? I battle with that constantly. It's just as well, though, because I have many poems to review. Over 30, in fact. I can't seem to catch up. But member dollars are directly proportional to how many poems or stories I post. It's always about money.
You make your point in good fashion, as always. You don't suffer from writer's block. You just need a good night's sleep!

This story, The Wall, is a nicely paced short story that takes the reader on a little jaunt with Cameron as he tries to deal with writer's block. Perhaps he could paint a door on it.

The title interested me at first as we had a writing assignment in high school to write about a wall. I think I was a bit dissappointed to have it be a part of a game but you wrote it well.

There are innumerable accounts of writer's block on this website, both in the prose and the poetry sections. This one beats them all. You've taken a well-worn cliche and made something quite remarkable from it. Well done. I'm glad you stopped at pebbles of blood and didn't work your fingers to the bone.
