I would like my laundry to be done that quickly and just with my eyes. Can you get that invented now? I've never written anything from the future. It would sound like a bad Jetson's episode I'm sure. Thanks for sharing!

I'll just stick to using my washer and dryer, thank you. You had a really fascinating description of how laundry would be done in the future. I could really visualize the procedure from your description. Goes to show, no matter how easy a task has become, people will still complain about it. Best of luck in the contest with this very creative entry. judi

Thanks for reviewing this one for two cents, Judi. Did you notice that Amy was just a head?

You raised my hopes for the future of doing laundry. Since it has been my job since I was 8, I figured that in the future with a blink of an eye I could do laundry.
Interesting story from a very creative imagination.
I think this could be a contender in the contest.
Regards,
Mary

Bill,

I don't know about all the rest, but I can certainly picture a society that would cry and whine when they have to only use their eyes to do the work. We are humans. We WILL complain!

Fun stuff - and highly creative!

A disconcerting view of the future? Something as easily completed as a winking or blinking of the eyes fails to make a task as mundane as doing the laundry an avoidable task still nerve wracking. Combatting an invasion is as easy as winking and blinking is great for those blessed with sight, but what about the one cursed with total blindness?

I like your imagination. I wonder if laundry can be done with a blink of an eye, what is cooking like? Or is food delivered through IV? And would they dirty clothes when they did so little physical work? I didn't know how they were going to "defend the laundry."
Best wishes in the contest!

This was a hands-free laundry. That has to worth defending.
