Bill, This is a very neat and very well worded 5-7-5 poem you have penned. You used very good descriptive words and very neat imagery from the art work you chose. This would have been a very good contest entry. Thanks for sharing. Blessings, Teri

I love the fun in this. We are so used to flowers described with beauty, delicate, real "flowery" writing. Here you present an angry flower!
Regards
Mary

Hello, Bill.
You've written a lovely poem--it put a smile on my face.
Sometimes I feel like this flower--in winter we usually see sunshine once in three weeks. Even the sun doesn't want to be in my town during winter!
Have a great week.
Blessings,
Cindy

If this disturbing looking plant were anywhere on my property, I would transplant it to maybe your yard when you were not looking of course. Probably in the dead of night when there was no moon visible.

Lol! I like your "angry flower." They do need light even if it's artificial light. I guess we all wish we had more control over the environment. Some flowers are probably saying, "let there be rain!"

Great use of those colors. You describe this as a 5-7-5, but I think your last line has six syllables. Great imagery of the flower demanding sunlight on a shady day. The flowers in the picture are lovely, but I can't tell whether they're angry or not. judi

Picky, picky when it comes to syllable count. No wonder I'm so slow in reviewing. judi

I love your humor, it always makes me smile. I can imagine that a flower might shout that out on a sunless day, the picture you included looked kind of mad. Thanks for brightening a cloudy Minnesota day. :)
