This is a lot of fun and aptly illustrated with the abstract art. I think we all hope our God can move obstacles. We certainly need something bigger than ourselves. Sending you my best today as always,

You'd kind of think a god could handle both APA and MLA style. I hadn't heard of Ganesh, I confess. I'd be of the same way of thinking after I saw the subject was astrodynamics. "I only do MLA." Cleverly done, and good luck in the contest. judi

To show you how far afield I was in this ... I had to Google MLA to see that it is a universal type of document formatting. You got me there, pal! But true to your bizzarational style, you did well having an elephant with a tusk for a pen. I do hope this does well in the contest. Your imagination is under-deserved.

Lol. Well, I prefer APA myself. I remember doing the MLA citations in college and you had to roll the typewriter roll halfway to create those footnote numbers. APA is much simpler!

Bill,

Of course. That would be just my luck, too. Come on, you silly pachyderm - you should know enough to help - a LITTLE! This was an amusing and unexpected little story. Thanks a bunch!

Firstly, kudos for having the nerve to address the elephant sitting in the middle of the room. Secondly, kudos for being wise enough to do the research on the two styles of editing. It is certainly not like you always knew. Thirdly, kudos on writing like you were wise enough and brave enough to tackle a subject like this with seeming confidence. I did not think you had it in you. It would seem that you are full of surprises, among other things and substances. LOL.

It is always a smart thing not to ignore the elephant in the room. Although you didn't really get anywhere with your paper it was worth it just to learn how an elephant goes about smiling. Cool 100 word story. You're not likely to have any conpetition with others using the same subject matter.

The fact the clever elephant can help with MLA format but our friend the elephant doesn't do APA, astrodynamics. Perhaps up need to explain what MLA and APA mean, Bill, I'm afraid I don't, but we'll done, good luck, blessings Roy

Sorry, Roy. American Psychological Association *APA* is the favored formatting style for engineering and science research. Modern Language Association *MLA* is used for literary publication and undergraduate papers.

reply by royowen on 31-Aug-2021
Thanks Bill, I think I knew the MLA

I expect the elephant in the room is our lack of confidence in our writing and our narrow mindedness and once we open up our hearts and minds the sky is the limit, much enjoyed, love Dolly x
