Marjorie D,

Okay, now it is getting bad because I want to know who the murderer is! The cops go over the story again and again and I just want to know. LOL

The story line is strong. That is for sure. The characters are true-to-life.
I must read the next chapter to see what the outcome will be.

There was no SPAG. No typos. No homophones. No problems at all.

I look forward to seeing you again.

Love you,

Oatmeal

Oh, boy I just can't wait. You really have it going, no one can figure out who did it. But I know who did it. No I'm not going to tell you. You'll just have to wait till the end, to find out.

Great brainstorming session, M...and what a hook at the end! Can't wait to read what Neil has thought of. I like your characters. They're believable and real.

They're starting to get down to the nitty gritty. The chapter after next, Dana puts in another appearance. Her horns are still showing and her tail has grown another inch. LOL

    Thanks yet again, my friend!

Leaving me hanging, dear girl. Love it. The only thing, I'm not sure cops take polygraphs as positive proof of lying. They are inadmissibale in courst because some people can and have faked them. Other than that, this was great.

Right. Nick's lawyer already pointed out the inadmissability. They're aware of that. Great point all the same!

    Thanks, Book!

there should be a warning on your work, Marjorie, that reads: Don't read till next chapter is available. You won't be able to stand it.

Another excellent chapter and cliff hanger.

I think, to date, for some wierd reason, this is one of my favorite chapters. I think its because it gets the heart racing, wondering if they'll be able to trace the call (since he used a phone card, it doesn't register on the phone bill. You have to know what the number of the phone card so it can be traced through the company). It comes in handy being a licensed PI sometimes. I think that's why I love the mystery chapters that leave me hanging. I can't wait to find out what happens next.

No nits or SPAG to note.

Excellent!

Heather

You're a licensed PI? My gosh! Is there no limit to your skills and achievements? That's fabulous. I've been excited all along by your reaction to this novel; now I'm even more jazzed!

    Thanks heaps, Heather!

As usual this chapter is right on track. The brainstorming session seems realistic and it serves the purpose of bringing readers up to date with the known (by the police) facts.

Again you tease the reader with Paul Davis' phone call.
Excellent plotting and no SPAG.

Great stuff Marjorie, this just gets better and better.
the intrigue is superb, you capture the detectives frustration as their ideas dont pan out.
it flows beautifully and it drew me in.
the ending is not fair.....lol
I am now chomping at the bit for the next chapter.
Well done.
