Another excellent chapter as yet another piece of the puzzle shows up. Great pacing of your story.

I am still trying to guess what affliction is killing people and making animals act strange.

Still no SRAG as I wait patiently for the resolution.

The action is kicked up a notch at this point as the story's main characters get more play. Thanks so much, CALLAHANMR!

After such a long time I enjoyed reading the chapter. The characters are well described and top notes brings us to the moments action. I'll have a look, just in case, in past chapters to get more famiiar to the plot, and read next chapters.

Hare Krishna

Hugs, Marjorie, is good to hear about you.

Wait, who are these Sumners? Were they introduced before or is it a new case in town? I got a bit confused here.
Calamine lotion... we use it for poison ivy. I wonder what got into that guy.

The Sumners are just another couple who own a summer home in Widmer, but Mr. Sumner's death ties into the storyline.

Thanks for hanging in there, Sara! I appreciate it.

Come on, Ray! You're on the right path, man, go with your instincts. Great chapter, Marjorie! You've got me hopping up and down trying to help the police find out what's going on. I sure hope you have that next chapter coming soon.

I didn't notice any spag, my friend. Great job.

This is an excellent chapter, filled with suggestive clues. The calamine lotion seems to indicate another of those horrible sores.

I'm still opting for deer ticks and Lyme disease, and am waiting to see if you have skillfully led me down a garden path. LOL Even if my hunch is far astray, I'll bet Ray is going to come up aces very soon. Can't be too soon.

Just excellent plotting and suspense, Marjorie, and I can't believe there are too many more victims to this macabre situation in a small town.

Good writing, and I'm awaiting the next chapter. No nits noticed.

All the best, Doris

Great chapter. Well written with nothing to criticize. Dialogue's good. The story continues to 'grip' and the entire thing is a pleasure to read. ann

I reviewed this in lock and key, and so I will not review it again except to say. The author follows recommendations made in lock and key, and the story moves ahead at a good pace.
