Hi Kay,

I think I told you when I was in the land of Oz we visited an Aboriginal village, even got a lesson in how to throw a boomerang! This is a delightful tale that you told so well. I love the animals in this story. Excellent! Blessings, chey

What a wonderful story to share, and told beautifully. I enjoyed the author notes at the end that really add insight to the story, especially for us westerners. ;o} robin

I love creation/origin stories, and the aborigines have wonderful ones that you tell with such an engaging narrative style, Kay. I love the animal characters' names and personalities. You need to gather all your aboriginal tales :-) Brooke

I found this story to be inspirational and unique--I do not know much about the Australian culture and of course would love to visit but you give so much information in this writing--I love the part how the animals were so happy for bubbling water something that we too often take for granted--great job.

Nice Artwork. It fits quite well with the story.

I had never heard this story before. It was quite cute and you told it well. It certainly keeps the reader's interest from beginning to end.

Thanks for sharing this.

Kay, I am so proud you have told this wonderful story. The world needs to know more about the Australian Aboriginal Dreamtime. I could listen to them all day. I just love this one. To have these stories handed down from generation to generation is wonderful. Let us hope this will always be the case, my friend. I so would love to know more of these stories.
Thank you so much for sharing, my friend.
Warmest regards, Marijke

This is a wonderful story written in the way of the storytellers of old, who handed down the myths and taught the way to live in an oral tradition of storytelling.I read stories such as this for children, who invariably love them. If you do not mind my noting there are a couple of very long sentences that could be broken up a little, and I noticed and a possible typo in the last paragraph,'swan' should maybe be 'swam'. Great Job. I look forward to reading some more.
