Carol ,this chapter certainly opens with a bang, carries on with dramatic action, and is supported with riveting narration.

But it's difficult for me to sympathize with Shannon because she yields too easily to scotch. Much the same is true of Bill They can hardly expect otehrs to declare them innocent.
But I suppose you mean a moral lesson in this that they brought some trouble upon themselves.

Love this story. Good job.

Does he remember? Of course[] he does!

He's a con man. He's a [a] rapist."

" You have a right to know[. A]fter all, you're about to lose your production assistant."

He put his hands around my throat and threatened to kill [me] if I opened my mouth.

A great chapter. The dialogue between Shannon and her boss is very good. You have portrayed Shannon's feelings clearly. I'm glad I can read this is one go, lol.
On to the next!

A riveting adventure which has captured my interest from its beginning. You definitely have a natural flair, which continues to shine through your writing.

You are doing a great job executing the plot. I am guessing they have to meet, but it won't be a pretty sight. I hope Bill is really a good guy.

Caution, whatch your changes of POV.

Great story. It took me in right from the beginning and held my eyes captive right up until the end. Can't wait to see what happens next! Very well done.

Hi Carol! Nicely done, your beginning draws us in, and the ending makes the reader want more! I wish I could be a mouse and listen in on meetings such as this! I look forward to what they are doing! ???? Hmmm. AND a question?? In your paragragh that begins with "Shannon tucked her legs..." you have a comma after "throat"? I keep getting told not to use commas before "and"? Let me know if there are times it's okay? I STILL don't know my comma use! Ha. ") Love, Susan

Hello Carol,
I thought the story that Shannon told about her horrible experience was filled with tension, until I read your closure.

Part 3 is definitely well written and yes terrifying.

This is a very intriguing read, and Mr. Cassandro is obviously an actor of many disguises. The meeting should be explosive.

Oh goodness, this is a good chapter- and book so far. Poor Mike, though. Having the face of a rapist. I am really looking forward to the next chapter. If I didn't have to wait I would be continuing to read. LOVE IT AND THANK YOU!!!
