Oh DragonSkulls, what time and work you must have put into these poems. I entered one of these cwown contests in the past and it nearly killed me. I haven't checked that you didn't repeat rhymes (which rule was very wisely relaxed in this particular contest), but if you achieved it, I applaud you. That was what I found most restricting.
Now, I have to be entirely honest, and I think it's *such* a shame you chose this subject. That's not to say I disagree with what you say - in fact I share just about all your thoughts - but to expend so much skill on such a limited topic, which will mean nothing beyond the pages of FS, seems misplaced effort. But perhaps you have time to spare, or write so quickly that you can afford to do this.
A great job nonetheless, and I hope this does well for you. I don't think I can face it again, so congratulations on reaching the finishing line.

Thank you so much for the kind review, Sally. I drive a truck all over Florida for a living and have a lot of time to think, lol. Here lately I've been sadly disappointed in what's been winning on here so I went this way with it. Nothing I ever write manages to get past the FS pages. I really appreciate the generous stars. | WOW! Does this poem ever hit home! I have read so much crap on this site, and yet they get so much praise! At first it did bother me that hardly anyone reads my Angel Poems, but in the 2 mo. That I have been on this site, I have decided oh well! I do read and of course use the points to a higher level, to entice people to read! I do think the system is flawed in this way! I actually do better on the fanart side, but the main reason I joined, was to share my Angel Poetry with others, but alas, no one really seems to care!

Hey Angel, hello. Thank you so much for the kind review and the gracious sixer. I've found the best way to get reviews is to enter contests. Promoting rarely gets out there unless you're clear up on the front page. When you're in contests at least a few more people read your work. Don't let it discourage you. Like you said, crap gets the praise on here. Dare to write anything other than butterflies and rainbows pretty well gets you nowhere with a lot of these folks. These contests have greatly help improve my writing skills. I just like to bitch once in a while, lol. Thank you again for the generous rating. I'm humbled. I'm glad you liked it.
