robyn, such a beautiful description of a baby's creation. I felt "awwwwww" through the entire piece. Your words moved me and made me feel better. Thanks for sharing this glorious write. Linda
Your poem is sensational, unique. So well done and touching. Your wording and rhyming progress smoothly with fluidity. Congratulations on winning third place.

Sorry to be so long in replying, but I appreciated your very kind review, and wish you a super week!
What a beautiful story you tell in this poem Robyn :)
I don't know how to review it, it just leaves me feeling "awwww" ... and makes me wish all parents saw their babies as the precious gift you describe here.

Thanks so much, Mel! Sorry to be so long in replying!! Hugs --
This was very well written, Robyn. It doesn't read like you haven't written in awhile, it still shows your talent. It may just be me but these two stanzas when read sound humerous.
'And deftly sculpts a unique child
From a faceless embryo'
They're very well-written just slightly humerous to me. Those you dedicated it to should be proud and happy to have a friend like you. Kudos. ;)
Nice work.! I am so happy to see you've posted again. I have missed reading your story. I hope it is still in the works, but back to the poem. I think it's cool how you went all the way back to the garden of Eden to start the thread. Also, the way you show God putting it all together is touching and real.
Thanks, Anita

Thanks Anita! I've missed you too. I'm easing back into things slowly. Have a great week!
Told with grace and style, Robyn. I've been wondering where you were. Send you a message a while back and also asked Gazza, but got no reply.
Glad you're back! I'm not a religious soul, so the actual message in this doesn't really strike a chord with me, but I cannot fault the story or the telling of it. As I said, it's told with your grace and sweet style.
It's so good to see you back, Robyn. This is such a lovely poem about the miracle of life, and it all rhymes so beautifully. I especially love those first four lines. I really can't think of any constructive criticism. It is perfect the way it is.
Hugs,
Connie

Thanks, Connie! Sorry to be so late. I appreciate you!
Well Robbo you are back with a vengence. This is a super poem you have crafted here. I like rhyming poems. Although a bit girly and religious I give it six for quality. Well done...
Mel.

WOW... What a visual I got reading this! I was mesmerized, caught up in the miracle of life being created and then I came to the end to discover I had been reading a story in a poem!
BRAVO!!!!!! WOW! I truly enjoyed this. VERY well written and from my limited knowledge of poetry, done with extreme talent.
P.S. That photo couldn't have been better! Great writing!
