This is a well thought out piece. It seems as the writer put a lot of thought into this and it shows. The passion is felt, the rhyming is good and the photo is beautiful.

A well told story this poem written in great form. The tone is so gentle the way this little one is created and the joy she will bring. Babies are just the very best! Best of luck in the contest, Robyn. Hugs, Susan

p.s. Glad to have you back-hope I'll get there soon!

Thanks, robyn. Dog this old 'Polar' stuff sure does get in the way...huh. I do believe warmth and sun helps. Take care of yourself, I've been thinking of you. You're most welcome! xxSusan

well, how strange - just yesterday, I've been tidying up my fan list and those I follow, deleting those I've not heard from for some time, but felt you might be back, so left you on the list -- welcome back, Robyn - good to see you writing again.

a simply lovely poem of a child born, with smooth flow to words and rhythm. good luck with the contest, my friend.

Hi, robyn, and glad to see something from you again! This is lovely, and I enjoyed the rhyme and flow. Your description of God's hand in the creation of this new life is great, and I love your comment on how the couple is transformed into something good and new. That is a beautiful thought. Excellent work, and best of luck in the contest. judi

Having a baby is a blessing and you made it sound so lovely when a baby comes into the world. Without pain, just love and happiness. Well done.

A very nice photo and nice story in this poem. How nice of you to share this story with us about your friends that are expecting a baby. What rhyme scheme did you use as that was not so clear to me.
