Hi Dawn,
what an absolute gem... knowing a little about your Mom from other writes this tribute just solidifies the love and admiration you hold for your Mother 'Billie'... I only know her through your words and I love and admire her, a strong and dedicated Mother, who obviously passed her traits on to her children.
Loss is a lonely place at times, but if we can see the smile from her lips that gave you comfort and joy in your heart this lady never dies... for she resides in the place where God lives... in our soul, our hearts, our essence... yeah, I know the physical part is the hardest to forget... but look at these words of pure joy, you'll never be apart.

There is no favorite passage or line, for all of this is just as it is... perfect, just like 'Billie's' daughter.

With our thoughts we create,
indelible memories,
James xx

I kept this last one for you... just had to wait for something special to give it to, and I can't go past this. xx

A beautiful poem you've written there, Dawn :)

The symbolic meaning of lilies relates to virtue..the flower is a representative of beauty. Relating back to your poem, it's the beauty of unconditional love.

Love these lines:
Yet still to love you firmly clutched
and taught us we should do so too;
so many lives you gently touched
so many hearts belonged to you.

Hugs

Amanda

Dear Dawn,
You just get better and better. Your cadence, word choice and rhyme make this easy to read and the sentiment is a great tribute expressed in simple, sincere terms. Mums are really very special.

Hi Ideasaregems-Dawn,

The one accomplishment I have always wished I had - and haven't - is to be able to play the organ. I liked the rhythm of your poem, a nice tribute.

Truly a very inspirational and somewhat majestic poem the makes me feel uplifted. Good use of imagery, rhyme and rhythm in which your rhyme was done so well that neither of your rhymes were forced, labored or strained. Your imagery with metaphor portrayed on envision many of the aspects of your your poem such as the music and the visual aspects of your context. The rhythm was good enough for me to easily understand read your poem easily. Thank you for sharing this with everyone including myself. You have a good one and God bless.
Alex

Such a beautiful tribute to your mother, Dawn. She sounds like a most remarkable lady and a wonderful mother. Loved this especially:

'Your laughter filled our lives with joy,
your patience knew no earthly bounds.
Your music, angels now enjoy.
Throughout the Kingdom it resounds.'

Awesome, Dawn.

Hugs, Bev
