Very engrossing! (Great closing couplet!!!!)
I know this sounds condescending. . .but it made me remember the ghost of Christmas Future - as portrayed in Mr Magoo's Christmas Carol (which as a kid scared the bejesus out of me. . .and to this day I still consider it the epitome of evil), but I mean it as a compliment.
My one little niggle is with the use of nectarous (implying pleasant) in S21L3. . .followed by "I caught the scents of death & hate" it seems contradictory. Might I suggest corpulent (implying heavy/heady) might be better suited?
That one small thing aside. . .stellar writing :-)

Wow! What a dream that must have been. Your story poem reads smoothlywith its aabb rhyme scheme and the story line is engaging as we ride along with you and see, hear, and smell every detail. I am really happy that it has a happy ending, being washed by the rain. Reminds me of Carrie Underwood's new song about water. Super job, Dean, but I tried not to look at the pictures. Lol

A combination of horror & humor( mainly the skeleton playing that bone instrumental), so that is quite a balance, is what I see with this too, ....We all must die one day, so we better watch how we live so our souls are not left in sin...Though this devil, to be somewhat funny pictured look like he is there to make sure his presence is always working for us to be, too, his next victim....So, I like the scary part of this poem , as for a lot of readers, hopefully it's a wake-up call..sorry, all out of sixes
