Aww, this is such a sweet story, and I really enjoyed reading it. I love how the characters are animals in this story, instead of humans. In a way, it kind of shows how everyone celebrates Christmas, and everyone cares about it. Good job.

Oh my, you went far into my portfolio to find this. =} I wrote lots of Super Pig stories years ago and published 5 books. I love Super Pig and I love this story. Thank you for taking the time to look for it and for the sweet review. It was a joy to write the story. Rox

your opening sets the stage well
Don't worry, dear - add comma for direct address
good use of natural-sounding dialogue with good non-verbal communication added in
Come and eat, my friends -add comma for direct address or it sounds like an invitation to eat the speaker's friends LOL
a delightful Christmas story :-) Brooke

Thank you Brooke. I always forget my commas. I wouldn't want anyone eating Super Pigs friends. =} Thanks so much for the great review. Rox

    Hi Alyssa!!

How are you? I'm so sorry I didn't get back to you sooner. I have been so busy that I haven't been getting on this site as much. Thank you so much for the 6 stars. I'm so glad you like the story. I hope to have a new book out sometime this year. I'll let you know when it's been published.

How are you doing? How is school? I had your grandmother make an ornament for my niece. She really like it. I hope you are doing well and enjoying school. Thank you again for the 6 stars, you are such a sweetie! Love, Roxanna

Hello Roxanne,

Such a lovely, delightful, feel good story! You really appealed to the inner child in me. :)

This story reminded me of Sandra Mitchell's tales (on this site).

Quite Potter-ish!

Hope you had a wonderful Christmas.

Love,

Sonali xxx

How nice that you dedicated this to a friend, very cute story with all the flavourings a kid could want from a story. Good descriptions, cute sounding characters and names. Some good lessons for kids to learn from, too. I try to do that in my children's poetry, too. Most enjoyable. I spotted a few errors, hope you don't mind-Para 4, a webbed foot, Para 5, downcast. Para 9, should be. Para 24, every animal's......... Faye

Thank you so much Faye. My friend cried when she read it, it meant so much to her. I will fix those errors, thanks so much for seeing them. I read it 100x and always miss something. Have a great day. Rox

Roxanna, what an endearing and fun Christmas story.
Beautifully told and presented.
I love Evelyn Elf Mouse.
Do you think she might come to perform magic at my table? Lol.
Lilybell frog also has the knack of spreading Christmas cheer-
something often lacking these days.
Sorry I am out of sixes.

This is just the sweetest story. It's perfect for Christmas and a great addition to your series of stories about Super Pig and her farm family. I loved the idea of snowflake candy. Happy Holiday Season. :)e

What a beautiful Christmas story, Rox, you should have put it in the Christmas story contest, it would have been perfect. I know you couldn't find an elf mouse, but what a lovely bird Christmas tree you found. I really enjoyed your lovely story, I must read it to my grandchildren, I am sure they will love it too. :) Sandra xsx

Thank you Sandra. My friend was overwhelmed, she cried when I sent it to her. Seemingly small things can mean so much to someone. I hope you have a wonderful Christmas. Roxanna

A new wrinkle holiday story to read to kids, and a smoothly written grammatical one at that. I didn't see anything to kkep this from excellent child fare.
