I chose to read the poem because of its title of Walking in the Woods. I expected a quiet walk through a lovely woodland scene, exactly as you started off your poem.
What follows in your poem is one disaster after another with no apparent connection. As the reader I was left bewildered.

Warmly,

Juliette

Thanks for your comment. The poem was an experiment.

Although often a film will start with thunder and lightning for dramatic effect.

In real life it is the people who provide the dramas,
in my experience, not the falling trees and lightning etc.

I take your point. However the speed with which unrelated incidents were introduced, without introduction or background just causes confusion.
I like to experiment too - sometimes it just doesn't work for me, other times it does...

    Warmly,

    Juliette

Funny walk in the woods, not at all what I expected.

Your walk was exciting and to those that can't walk in the woods any more something to think about.

I hope to read more.

    Thanks for your comments.

This was an experiment into the surreal.

    Of the ultra dramatic.

And humor, or humour as we say in England,
    by putting 'u' into it.

Although we spell 'humorous' without a 'u' before the 'r'.

    I like playing with words.

Flowers blooming, brought forth a thought. Though interrupted by the crashing of an oak tree as it fell. This caused you to think what it all meant, when suddenly lightning hit the pole ad caused a fire. You could smell the burning wood and the smell of tar. But you kept up with your walk and meditation when a small jet crashes. All the while you keep walking on you Sunday afternoon walk, Patricia

    Its surreal, an experiment.
    Like the thunder and lightning
    that often starts a film.
It prepares you for the drama to follow.
Though in my experience of life
the people themselves provide more than enough
    drama!
