Hi Richard :)
I really like this and actually, I never questioned all the 'tat' before.... I like the image of the ordinary heaven much better.... not too ostentatious - I think I'd fit in better there! Seriously though, I like what you did here :)
Kindest regards as always, Debra

    Thanks for your comments.

I think most people miss the point of the gospel drama.

Jesus was humble, even after he rose from the grave.

Humans however have to have a hero figure

who they want to project upwards.

If I get the chance, will look up some theologians who

may share my point of view.

Inspiring and beautifully written and expressed. God just wants our love, it's as simple as that. When we love, we aim to please.

Gorgeous picture to complement a lovely poem that leaves one to think.

What, you mean no dishwasher and no big-screen TV?! What am I doing all this being good for?

I enjoyed your little 'rant' - not much ranting actually. I was a little puzzled by lines 5-7 - they didn't really seem to fit with the theme of your poem.

    Thanks for your comments.
Lines 5 to 7 do not fit, but are my engagement with the events.
    My reflection.

There are many ways of looking at the easter story. Each is fascinating.
Here I focus on the humility of Christ.
A sign of humility is to keep silent.
As is mentioned in the Trial.

Also the refusal of Christ to write an autobiog.

So now, I need to shut up!
