There's a Spider in the Bath
Awesome! Excellent rhyme and refrain. I don't know how they get in the bath either but they sure are hard to keep out. I love your poem it made me smile.

Been through this so many times, and your fine poem describes it perfectly! the second time, I usually just hit it with the hair spray! An excellent poem indeed!

A great humorous poem I can clearly see why it was recognized an all-time best and earned a seal of quality. It's rhythm, flow and rhyme is splendid in style and makes the reader smile.

This poem made me laugh. It is well written and descriptive of the bath pest.
Reading this made my imagination come to life for a future write. Well penned.

Blessings,
Brigitte

Hello, :)

I just came across this poem. This is my favorite part -- really strong writing:

In absolute stillness I gazed at the scene - the world held its breath - that was clear
Then an inhuman scream split the silence -- a scream of both horror and fear
A scream that reflected revulsion at all that was there to be seen,
Of the wasting of so many innocent lives -- a disaster that shouldn't have been.
As the scream echoed round I felt I couldn't breathe, my mouth felt constricted and dry
I was rigid with shock, my brain was in spasm - but I was unable to cry.

Walking Boots
Hi Waggers: This is a great humor poem. I joined last May and first time I saw your pic, I thought: Waggers sure doesn't LOOK like a poet, but soon learned that looks are deceiving b/c you're a top-notch one! My husband is a marine & was in Viet Nam & the love of his life was Nancy Sinatra, so I kept wanting to sing the tune as I went through it. I thought that was funny & you might not think so. Anyway, just sayin'--appreciate an extra-ordinary talent such as yours and going back to read some more. (the tune? "These boots were made for walkin'--and that's just what they'll do--one of these days these boots are gonna walk all over you"--with that PUSHing beat behind it. GoodHearted Woman Marcia

He has visited me too, but I didn't write about him. I usually got a broom or fly swatter. It's quicker than chasing him. But the poem was worth the read. Good job.

Embryonic thoughts
This is well deserving of being recognized as an all-time best worthy of a seal of Quality. I give God the glory that you describe in your story how life begins at conception. The bond made in the seed man planted that God granted to the human species, and to imagine that God used the female innocent in the womb to bring and bloom into the God-man that gave his life and now stands in his heavenly home beside his father on his celestial throne. God surely thanks you for writing down his inspiration and sharing it with fan-story it is also deserving of going viral on social media. All the best and God Bless.
