I can see why Brain wanted to fly like a bird. Anything to get away from his classmates. This happens every day in our school with bullies. Can't wait to read Part 2 I'm waiting to read it. I don't like bullies either.

Hi Phyllis, What a sweet story and a sweet ending. They both lived happily after just as good fairytales should end, And with a morale for everybody who was left behind. I enjoyed this well written tale. All the best, Ulla

I do love a happy ending, Phyllis.
Your story was a most enjoyable fantasy read, which I am sure many children would love.
Well done,
Annette

Well, Phyllis this is a wonderful story with a moral worth reading about. Now Brian knows his mom really does love him and best of all old lady Bell got fired. Even though my gloating over her firing might be a tad harsh.

Exceptional writing my dear. And, this is a story that would sell and I like it because it doesn't have all the electronic gadgets so central in kids lives these days.

But, did you hear about the 22 year young man who sold Oculus Rift (Virtual Reality) to Facebook for a mere 2.3 Billion? It's a sobering thought imagining all these very young boys with such mega bucks running the world. LOL.

Love your imagination.

Gloria

Bless your glorious heart for the precious sixer and I'm really glad you enjoyed the story. Billion? Nobody should have that much money. That's what made Donald Trump think he's God. I can jus imagine the damage a young person could do!

Donald is a bit player with chump change in this new world of young players.

But he's loud, and idiots respond to volume, ignoring the source.

Did you get a message about my new story called "A Hole in the Heart"? I think FS messed up and didn't send them out, because I'm not getting many reviews at all. This has happened before from an FS glitch.

Ha, Paula missed a skip and stepped on the rope. Now that is some great showing her dumbfounded surprise to see Brian flying.

Oh boy, did Mrs. Bell ever get it. It did seem that some teachers played favourites that way.

Well that chapter was very satisfying. It's always great to be able to confront the bullies and tell them thanks but no thanks.

Now for the grand finale.

Thanks yet again. I had a few teachers who played favorites. I didn't mind when I was one of them, but when I was on the other list, I know how Brian felt.

Ha ha, I love Nigel's broken English. It's perfect. Yowza and as it turns out the Eagle's are practically geniuses.

Excellent descriptions of the ground below while Brian's in flight. The ribbon of fire for the highway is perfect.

Oh boy that was a fun adventure. Every child wants to fly without an airplane of course.

Delightful, you bring us immediately into the story and keep us flying right along with you.

Gloria

Well, I think Brian will find knot tying will come in quite handy as time plays out.

And it turns out, it has. I like how he made good use of the clothesline. Ah yes, building a playground to attract other kids. That's smart.

Good grief, and Brian is considered a little strange because he talks to birds? It sounds perfectly normal to me.

Your stories are always such a delight, Phyllis.

Love Hawk scratching out a diagram and asking if they can have it ready in two weeks.

What a terrific gathering of friends and you took their picture too! Very cute.

This is a very good story with a message even and I love the birds.

On to the next part.

Thanks for reading, Glorious. Yes, I took the photo. I had a helluva time getting them to pose though. You might have noticed they all look disgusted, but not nearly as much as I did. :)

I'm glad everything worked out so well for Brian and his mom. I'm also glad that awful teacher was fired. My brother had one just like her in grade three. He hated school forever after that. Her name was Mrs. Zadimersky. We called her Mrs. Cannawormsies.

Paula and Josh are awful, and so is Mrs. Bell, but hopefully Brian will make some human friends now that they know he's not crazy. Sadly, there are a few teachers just like Mrs. Bell. I've had a couple. Kids can have an awful time with a bad teacher.
