I enjoyed the sensuality of your poem. It is sultry and alluring.

I also find it odd that we both have chosen similar character names for our work.

My character's name is Elizabeth Catherine Dubois in a novel that I wrote. Synchronicity, I guess.

The best to you,
Bonnie

Thank you for your kind and generous review. Do stop by again soon. My pen name has a story behind it.

May I ask the story behind your pen name? Love to hear it when you have time...

I always feel as if I have lived Elizabeth Catherine's life sometime ago. Her modern nickname is Kat.

Yes! I always liked the names and said I was born in the wrong century. My Mama, who raised me, always called me her "little honey child Southern Belle". Mama was a true southern belle; and wished me to be one. But alas I went to live with my Papa and became a tomboy ranching and farming. When I started writing for real; I chose the 1800's spelling of Katherin Elizabet and used the Belle from Mama. Thus, the pen name Catherin Elizabet Belle. I have two books published: "The Cabin" and "The Guardians"...along with 4 poetry books. [check out my blog: catherinbelle.com] Have a nice evening. Catherin

Hey that is so strange... The parallel is uncanny... i'm a Southern Belle born in Louisiana... But, how strange ...
