If he is presenting himself as a gentleman, is she also presenting herself as a proper lady? I think so in this descriptive poem about the two. Oh the ways the opposite sex can portray themselves isn't always as it appears. It does seem these two have a nice potential though.

A different style for you, I'd say.

I liked the parallel pattern of the poem and your comparisons between the two genders. The focus on the eyes and the heart is very effective, and the artwork reinforces the theme well. Cheers- Joan

I enjoyed reading your dual thoughts on the 'gentleman' and the
'intelligent' 'beautiful' gal. I particularly liked the entry lines...
"An intelligent man
will enhance your visions" That's the ideal...right?

and I also liked your ending..."will gently dance into your heart"

The reference to a demurely smiling gal indicates she has the best chance of finding happiness is life.

However, it seems eye candy (beautiful gals) is what most men desire, even though that typically leads to nothing but heartache.

And, intelligent gals are usually perceived as threats to men. (For better or worse).

Stereotyping women is not the best way to find the one of your dreams.

But, it is, unfortunately, what most people do in sorting them out.
