I loved the fact that I could read this with the same rhythm as "Twas the night before Christmas" it gave it a wonderful pace which added to the action of the poem. The use of fear and humour makes this a very enjoyable read. Excellent.

This is brilliant. the rhyme, the alliteration, the the strong verbs . Loved the references to some fanstory stars. You need to put this on youtube and get it out there for more folks to enjoy.

Amazing. I love a poem that is a take on 'The Night Before Christmas.' This is so well done, perfect rhyme as always and rhythm. Did you go Trick or Treating? One of my co-workers did. Of course, she still looks 12 so could get away with it. She brought in her stash to share so I was most happy she went. Happy Day After Halloween. =} Super Poem.

The poem was great..but Halloween...a dud. Few kids around and it ended by 8:30...
Whaaat? Remember the nights we roamed the streets in packs with sacks? Oh...these kids today do not know how to party....kind of like their music..
without soul...ha
You did it again...Dean.

I'll bet you have more fun writing this when you have a tune and story to parody. Love what you did with
on Donner, on Blitzen..."
"Now, Gypsy, now Cat--and yes, you, rama, too!
Grab all of these children; let's ski-dattle-dee-doo!"

Vivid description of her death, but witches don't die so easily.

Great story line.

-Great graphics and reading, Dean.
-Very well written poem/story with good imagery and rhyme.
-It's hard to pick what I liked, as it is all good.
-I noticed a reviewer pointed out some FS names
so I went back and read the poem again.
-Sure enough, there they were; I guess they took part
in the Halloween fun!
-My favorite part is Wanda the Witch; of course, she had
to come back for the next Halloween, and poem, perhaps?!
-Thanks for sharing.

Hello Dean
This is quite a fun poem to read
A mixture of Clement Moore, Tim Burton and Dean Kuch
With excellent rhyme, meter and alliteration
"Whilst weird wicked witches wove spells on their slaves;
Vampira was pale as the pure driven snow--"
Plus the signature Kuch art work graphics
"But I heard the witch shout as they started to leave,
Never fear, we'll be here, come next All Hallows' Eve!"
Very well written, just right
for a ghoul, goblin, zombie, werewolf, witch festive Halloween
Well done!
RS

I think this is a great innovative idea and a poem that is undoubtedly entertaining. The rhyme scheme is really clever and I admire it because I know how tough that can be sometimes. And, although this is stating the obvious, I have to say it: it doesn't get more Halloween than this.
