A softer...side of Dean emerges in poetry...but then we knew it was there...in notes it comes through singing out strongly..A beautiful tribute to He who holds your hand in times of grief and trouble..
You have never been that "horror guy" to me- well maybe borderline, but you do step to this side as in the poem so well stated. I am dropping out of Fanstory for a while and not sure when I will be back. Regards and Best Wishes - Alan
Hi Dean. I'm sitting here waiting for church to begin, and came to your portfolio to review the poem I had promised I'd review Sunday. But I saw this and read it first...
I have never considered you an anomaly because I've always believed Christians do not belong in boxes. We are all unique with differing gifts and callings and methods of expressing our devotion. Having said that, may I say your poem is so moving and beautifully written, I could barely get through it all for the tears blurring my vision. Far from cramming faith down people's throat, your words give encouragement and help and a beautiful blessing to those who choose to read them... And I am blessed to have discovered this magnificently written poem this Sunday morning. Thank you for breaking out of your "box" now and then. It is lovely to see. I consider the poem perfect in every way. MM
I don't see this side of you pop out all that often, but over the years I've had the pleasure a few times, and it's always nice to know that you aren't just the horror guy. LOL! Thanks for sharing another of your fine poems. :-)
