I learn something every time I read one of your poems. Sometimes it has to do with the message of the piece. Other times it's the structure. In this poem, I picked up something about structure. You write longer sentences than most. This is why your poems sound like the were written by one of the masters a hundred years ago when people were more eloquent before abbreviations and emoji took over.

Music harmony:: BOO hears chimes... it has a medieval, fantasy ring. Meditative and spiritual, I hear the flutes play, the artwork is out of this world. I detect the sad violins play... mellow melodies like stardust raining from the heavens. Fanstoria, that sounds like a fantasy fairyland. The pictures add to this fantasia. Love the jester. This is art, more like a museum, they way you create visual images so vivid, makes you feel that you are here, like being an Avatar and traveling to another fantasy world in the spirit domain. Yet there were those whose bitterness--intolerance, sheer ignorance, soon reared their vicious, ugly heads; and spoke so loud, they woke the dead. Yes, this is fan story. The king picture grabs me... this is not an average story abot the stories told in the castle known as fanstory. Much more, tis the intangibles that are unseen that is the difference from good to great. The music keeps me relaxed, time does not matter in Fanstoria. Words come, as I read the words that give meaning. This is great, was thus reduced to smoke and ash as fiery fingers singed and slashed. the beats draws my soul in, but I shall not let evil curse this fantasia world, they do exist, these terrible monsters do... is spooky, the beast lives as horror stories, the king sits in his throne watching his land, pretending to watch the show. This has special meaning to BOO, it answers some riddles: So, next time someone has the floor, open your mind, please, I implore.

Don't shut them out, close not your mind--try to be courteous and kind.
For one day you might have the floor, but you'll be shunned then shown the door.
Emotions spent, your message lost.-- So, isn't listening worth the cost?
I ponder this and wonder... BOO

I am new to Fanstory and being a bit thick, it is taking me a while to get the feel. I found a lot of wisdom in this offering. Kindness is never misplaced, and we reap what we sow. A timely warning, in an excellent capsule of words.

The poem is excellent as always
With form that deals a valid punch
The poem here is from the heart
Touching on important stuff

Many are here to learn to write
Wanting good reviews with insight
Still some do not understand
Instead they say bitter snags

Myself I write and for that come here
No style searched for or really care
Still with reviews I always long
To give an applause for the song

I try to write as I feel
From the poem that I read with care
Always trying to praise the write
Never trying much to improve the art

Exactly, Dan. We write to please ourselves first and foremost in the hopes that it pleases others too.

I deeply appreciate your complimentary review and six stars.

I think the site is much worse since he removed two important features... indenting poems and posting without getting reviews, just messages. I still use the old form because the new one is too short.. can't see a whole pic and have to scroll. Really awful design.

Yes, some of the reviews amount to little more than personal attacks that have little to do with your writing and offers no constructive criticism. Given that I perform poetry and stories at open mics, I found your narrative poem about poets and bards of Fanstoria resonated me. Your poem calls for civility and respect to those who share our hearts and out talents. Thank you for acknowledging the problem here.

Thank you for taking the time to read and comprehend what I was trying to say, the message I wanted to get across, Andre.
You hit the nail right on the head, as always.
Does intolerance have ANY place in art?
I, for one, do not believe it does.
I appreciate the shiny sixth star as well, my friend.
    Thank you!

A very well-written fantasy. We all dream of the perfect world where we will always tolerate each other and appreciate each other's differences. As long as there are humans around there will always be trouble in paradise. Embrace each other's uniqueness will bring heaven closer.
