As always, superb presentation. An interesting message, too. I haven't been on site for quite as long as you, but there have been a few changes. We've lost some superb poets, for one. Thankfully we still have quite a few and new ones keep coming. It's good that Tom keeps on tweaking the site to improve its usability though, as always happens with change, these are generally accompanied by a few groans of despair!
I usually trawl the 'Up Next' section each day to widen my range of contacts, rather than keeping just within a narrow circle.

I must say you would be a hard act to follow if you lived in those ancient times when bards ruled the stage before the kings. This is well written with a great flow- 'ENJOY THE SHOW'

This is your world and no one can or dare try to take it from you. This might be the best piece from you that I have seen. This is as good as RGStar

Wonderful you have to down to a tee, this is exactly what fanstory is about although I agree sometimes the reviews do seem to be a bit OTT to say the least but I do get the odd one that is not so postive which sometimes helps.

    Yes, I believe that's true, Kooky.
    There are many very talented writers here at FanStory who will offer you suggestions with tact and who also have your best intentions at heart when doing so.
    On the other hand, there are also a handful who do not, and offer criticism merely out of spite.

I try not to get embroiled in these things, Dean, as it becomes more like forum discussions rather than review, but let me say, I understand the statements laid down. I kind of go ahead as always with positive reviews of help when needed, praise when deserved and explanation of theme if challenged or asked. I find that the best way.

Listening is worth the cost, so is reading and reviewing. For me I've learnt so much in the years I have been on F S. No, I'll never be in the Top 10, but I get just as much enjoyment out of it. I agree Fan Story has changed, but so have I, have we. Listen and learn and enjoy I say.

I couldn't agree with your more. I wonder how this happened. I have noticed social media, in general, with the popularity of
Twitter, has taken on a mean-spirited attitude. Words from the safety of computer screens bring out cowardly rudeness.

I like your poem. I've been studying about the Bards during the time of the druids. Their stories and songs passed history, legends, and wise tirades (sayings) that helped train and bond social order.

Your Bard is true to the cause. One must respect others to receive respect.

Great poem Mr. Dean. I haven't been a victim...yet. I've gotten some 4 stars and crap reviews, but I usually just ignore them, and go on. BUT...if that became the norm, I wouldn't stay. A great poem, blessings...
