A very touching poem. It was beautiful. It's a reverse Mother's Day memory. I'm certain you made a lot of people as nostalgic as you made me.

This is so very touching Miss Adonna. Happy or not, it's real. Not every Mothers Day poem can be all flowery. Don't know if this is your real story or not, if so...don't give up. It's like God, some of us don't come home til we hit bottom. Beautiful, Happy Mothers Day, blessings...

The sheer fierceness of a mother's love, reflects God's love for His beloved Israel, regarding her as His wife and children all at once. One can understand His disappointment at her unfaithfulness, reflecting that fierceness and jealousy. But being ultimately good, He longs for reconciliation, and makes a way through Jesus. Hence the nature of God within a mother's love for her children! Beautifully written nest of sonnets and a great reflective, case for Mother's Day. Well done, blessings, Roy

This is a WONDERFUL poem you've written.
Such lovely words to read on Mother's Day. "I've loved you fiercely from the very
start."
Great artwork: The image shown supports the poem. The background color goes well with the art and color of font chosen.
Thanks for sharing your poetry.
Good luck with your future writing.

SO GLAD I was able to save my last six stars to meet with this lovely work from this brilliant poet. This is a beautiful poem, though painful indeed on this very special mother's day. I'm hopeful that some positive developments will come about for those still out of touch and my best wishes go out to Miss Merri for being such an inspiration in the world of poetry and love. Vance, I appreciate this beautiful review so much. I'm so honored to have supporters like you, who constantly encourage and bring me hope and smiles. I'm so glad you had a six left at the end of the week, and here it is another week before I've even had a chance to say thank you. I do read the reviews from my phone, but prefer to respond on the computer because I can type much faster here, so unfortunately I get quite behind sometimes. But... you are always read and always appreciated. Hugs, MM

i weep reading...feeling the wound unhealed, knowing the heart that bleeds to be made whole, that beats because faith promises someday. Meadow surely she knows you are love. Michael

What a beautiful tribute to a child I assume you lost. A nice rhyming poem and indeed while reading it I was thinking sonnet. I also lost a son and on mother's day I still feel the sad loss even though it is many years since he died.

Lois, I'm so sorry you lost a son. I am sure that must be so difficult to deal with. Thank you for reading my poem and for your kind and gracious comments. MM
