You have written a very unusual poem about the end of one's days. It was so peaceful, almost meditative when read aloud. The different rhyming pattern works well. Congratulations. Sue

very wistful and semi-regretful? Crowds?
It's lovely and peaceful and wise.
Almost inviting.
However, from your bio, you are not anywhere near "the end." - IF indeed that is your subject. Maybe it's not. maybe retirement.
At any rate, you painted an enchanting scene.

PS
just re-read your title. You are talking about the stillness of the prairie! Heavens. sorry, I misunderstood.

I enjoyed the verse and the peacefulness of it all. Your poem made me feel a bit sad, but good poetry should always stir some kind of emotion I think.

This is an unusual but poignant point of view of the deceased. It reads like an out of body experience and in a way it is. The lines are simple, the imagery vivid, the message is one of no regrets for an expected event.

victortouche,

The arrangement is formatted very well. The theme was well thought out. The descriptive words are well chosen. Your feelings are well expressed. Thoughts are expressed and described well.

There was no SPAG. No room for improvement.

The words you chose worked well.

I look forward to seeing you again.

Love you,

Oatmeal

A very gentle poem with some rhyme to it but mainly free form. I like the way it tapers off to the end.
It draws from emotion which I imagine comes from some past experience.
The picture shows an animal of strength but the wording is gentle.
Vivid in contrast. Interesting.
