well, that's a sad thought, but with lovely words.
This is an unusual but poignant point of view of the deceased. It reads like an out of body experience and in a way it is. The lines are simple, the imagery vivid, the message is one of no regrets for an expected event.
A very gentle poem with some rhyme to it but mainly free form. I like the way it tapers off to the end.
It draws from emotion which I imagine comes from some past experience.
The picture shows an animal of strength but the wording is gentle.
Vivid in contrast. Interesting.
