Sure am glad I came to this corner of the site. Somehow I knew I would find you here. This is one of your spooky best. That graphic of King is priceless. You never fail to tickle me to pieces, and please place them in a bag and dispose of properly.
This is so cute. I love it. Halloween is one of my favorite holidays. My son has been told several times that he looks like Steven King and he does.

Thanks for the three stars.
It's customary here when you give such a low rating to also give the author suggestions for improvement.
How can I make improvements unless you tell me what to improve?
Writers are generally interested in improving their skills and impressing the audience. You, as a reader, should try to write an unbiased review of the work. You are encouraged to be critical. Always state what you liked and did not like (state both). Compare the writing to the top authors you have read when making a judgement of how many stars to award.
The site offers a six star scale for ranking work. Here's a guideline:
Six Stars (Exceptional: Simply Outstanding)
Five Stars (Excellent: Enjoyable and no revisions needed)
Four Stars (Good: Adjustments needed)
Three Stars (Below average) Two Stars (Below Average: Needs lots of work)
One Star (Poor: Major revision required)

I dunno, Ricky. I can't explain why either.
Even though the poem didn't place, I still had lots of fun writing and putting it together.
I appreciate you going back, resurrecting this from the FanStory poetry graveyard and offering your opinions on the poem.
Thanks for the shiny sixth star as well.
Happy holidays, buddy.
I absolutely loved
Stephen King watched from his Mansion in Bangor. and his taking control of the discussion, by "ordering" action -
it brought the piece to a cleverly modernistic level.
I also thoroughly enjoyed the meter and rhyme that you crafted,
which made the reading effortless and self-propelled :-)
And how shocked was I, NOT to find spine-chilling, visceral images!!! (LOL)
Best wishes in the contest :-)

I'd hoped to make the story tame enough for adults and children alike, Leineco. Hence the absence of the more gruesome sort of imagery.
I deeply appreciate you taking the time to read and comment on it, and for the six stars as well.
I never take either for granted.
Thanks for wishing me luck.
Best wishes, and thanks again.
Thanks for the truely entertaining read. It was a lot of fun. I told my nephew who rents from me that I wasn't going to decorate for Halloween this year.
"Too much trouble. And I don't have any kids to enjoy it any more".
His response. "You have to. It's the 2nd biggest decorating holiday of the year."
And of course I did. By the way, my nephew is 50. Guess I do still have a kid around.

Once a fan of Halloween always a fan, DALLAS.
Shucks, I am 57 and still love dressing up and decorating. I scare the bejeezus outta any trick-or-treaters brave enough to come to my door, lol.
Thank you for your review and the six as well.
I hope F/S gives this a seven. I know. They are few and
far between and I've had a couple. But this one offers
such hope. Competition is not the way to determine who
is superior. All the best in the contest, Dean.
