A poem about an author that I have always admired and it is obvious by reading your poem that you do as well. A very good Halloween poem for the upcoming season.

Thanks for reading and commenting, Don.
All the best,

Flowing very nicely. Comprehensible and very well written. Your formatting was terrific although the seventh line needs to go back one space. The arrangement is understandable and effective.
No other problems could be found.
I can only wish you the best of luck in this contest.
Love reading anything about Halloween, think it's a great time of year.
Thought your poem was really clever and so well thought out, really enjoyed it .
Great job, well done.

Thank you, For better for verse. I am very glad you enjoyed the poem.
What hope do the rest of us have when the Master of Horror enters the same competition?
I'll bet none. I find your poem to be full of divergent ideas, images and good penning.
Good luck in the contest, no competition from me!!!!!!
Thanks for sharing

With out a doubt you are the master poet Dean Very clever and well put together I really enjoyed this and good luck in the contest Cheers Chris ( from Bali)
In my opinion, this is the winner of the contest, hands down - I don't have to read anything else. If I write a Halloween poem, it will not be a contest entry - this one is just too amazing - obviously, I Love it, but then, Dean Kuch is the writer...
As always, I love your spooky poems. This Halloween one is delightful and adding the other holidays to the mix was a nice twist. Great rhymes and presentation. My step-daughter is a Stephen King fan so we have bought all of his books and sent them to her over the years.
Great art and music fitting this Halloween poem for the contest.
You are clever and creative. Love the mention of Stephen King in your poem, he is the master of horror, my parents were huge fans of his. I like how each holiday is a live character. This is a fun poem to read and a unique Halloween poem.
This is so cute and loved the creative humor in it! I liked the personification of the holidays and especially the costumes that they wore. It used to be a fun time for kids but it's just not the same anymore.

"Valentine's asked as chocolate dripped down her chin." (wondered why the 's after Valentine?)
