Very creative in concept and delivery. Lovely poetry too. The entire project is very well planned. The idea of having various holidays debate and the introduction of each holiday into the debate is ingenious. The Illustrations are particularly
I love the approach, Dean. Love the personalization of the holidays. There is just one negative - and that's within me; has nothing to do with the writing... I hate Stephen King! Where horror is concerned, he simply writes of sick, perverted stuff. He, and the sex pervert Woody Allen, are the two people I detest the most. Oh, well.
Love the personification of the holidays. 4th of July dressing as Gen. Patton was vlassic. Very easy to read with a good rhythm. Love that even in z holiday land Stephen King is still a master. Well done and thanks for kicking off the Halloween season. Gretchen
Dean, you have written a Halloween poem that should appeal to all ages. I really enjoyed how Stephen King came to the aid of poor Halloween. As always great visuals to accompany your poem. A delightful read to set the tone for the upcoming holiday. Rod
I bet you thought of me as you wrote this one - I didn't once bite my nail nor turn the volume down to 0% for the volume. I was soon swaying, near about swooning,
seeing how smoothly I could sashay past Halloween to lend Sweetest Day my ears.
As I ventured forth, Thanksgiving and Christmas and Sandy tucked me in the comfy chair by the fireplace, turkey in the belly and tons of chocolate to snack on...
"Halloween with Stephen King," penned by the Dean of goblins and ghouls of gloom and doom. Thanks for sharing and wishing you the best of luck in the contest. Not that you need any, when you're on the VIP list of the underworld. Great job. :-)
Here we have the epitome of creativity, even beginning with the imagination of this abstract yet brilliant work. The packaging and delivery of this work is magnificent....pure top drawer HOLLYWOOD class. I cannot offer enough claps on these old hands or I'd have to quit Fanstory for a year to recover my fingers. My sincere thanks for a marvelous and delightful experience. HIS GRAYNESS; Vance
A absolutely delightful poetry, dressed in artistic poetically rhyming words that take the reader down the page of all the holidays in a whimsical and humorous vein much like some Disney delight of long ago
Well done and good luck
Your poem was fun and you thought it through well. Once I got to the animations though, I couldn't focus on the poem. I had to go to my computer setting and turn off the sound to be able to read the words without distraction. My advice would be to include a few still pictures but don't overdo it. I enjoyed your fun poem.
