I agree with so many of your fine points, I much prefer on line education where you get out what you put in, sometimes you can get distracted and lost in the depths of a classroom.
Well written....really enjoyable
I agree with your opinion on the whole and 'one size fits all', isn't true and everyone learns in different ways. Your last paragraph said it all and many lecturers would lose their status and income and would maybe have to work a little harder for a living, love Dolly x
I believe wholeheartedly in lifelong learning and agree with you that on-line learning can be a very effective (not to mention affordable and efficient) way to educate. Thank you for sharing your well-thought-out conclusions. Best wishes in the contest and happy Halloween- Joan
This is an excellent essay. You've stated your case very well. I went back to school in my '30's. It was tough back then for a "grown up" to be on campus with younger students. The men were great, but the women(girls) were difficult and prejudicial to older students. Students with families do need the flexibility which on-campus classes fail to offer as you mention in your piece. Great job. Marilyn

My wife teaches college classes both face-to-face and online. She has a lot of nurse aids that work overnight and have children as well. It is nearly impossible for them to come to class so online is perfect for them. Thank you Marilyn.
