MissMerri, this is a beautiful and touching poem you have written for your son. It can be viewed many ways - as a very sad poem, a poem of missing days gone by of watching your son in childhood grow or missing your grown son now a man away making a living for himself. Many facets to a fine composition. Great work! ~DD

I love this poem. The picture supports the title and the verses.
A beautiful reflection of a mother's memories of happier times with her son during various stages of his life. The mother's love speaks loudly through the poem and is reminiscent of a mother's heart.
Usage of strong verbs strengthens this piece.

Great job!

Ellie

This speaks how a truck driver father misses his son from morning since evening at highway away from home at some happy, good moments; I like. DR ALCREATOR

Such a sweet poem. I guess the son is missing because he lives far away now? I love how you build the emotions by fleshing out the memories with concrete, tangible events that every mom misses about their kids.

This is beautifully written Miss Merri I love the repetition of 'I miss you" at the start of each stanza it works well. I really like the way you write of the circumstances of which you miss him well done. Thanks for sharing.
