I appreciated your establishing the mood for this poem with the music and visuals. I admired your storytelling and imagery in this rhymed poem. Your use of alliteration intensified the theme. I am sorry not to have the six stars this post deserves. Well done- Joan

I ran out of sixes on Monday, Joan so I completely understand.
I'm just glad you took the time to read and comment on it--six or no six.
Have a lovely weekend.
Harbor of Hades, Wow. This is yet another amazing creation, Dean, that just fills the screen and the room with such epic drama. Between the fabulous wording, including choice phrases like "vapid void" and "constant consternation", your forming the story line of the passage from life or death, in this Greek inspired metaphorical venture, and the huge production values of spooky art and pulse-pounding music, you present a marvelous poetic experience.
That may be my last six! :( I'm gonna cry! :D
This was an outstanding poem. I love the sound effects -- man, you go boy! It reminds me of Pirates of the Caribbean. I am in the mood for a good horror movie -- ghostly, no blood and guts.
Another excellent piece, Dean.
Everything goes so well together, the picture, the colors. And, the ominous music you've paired with it is perfect. It all adds to the eerieness of the poem itself. Exceptional job.

Thanks for reading and commenting on this, Violet.
In my opinion, a too easy rating - a superb write, narrated on the page by a master wordsmith, too talented to be distracted from his works of the dark - the light is for others, those who cannot channel the kinship of Poe...
Okay, another nightmare filled night I see lol. I actually love been scared, well, by you. I am glad you haven't lost it as some of your stuff lately has been timid, good, but not the dean I know and love lol.
