Wow!I
Read this out loud several times.
Something about reading a poem out loud enhances it.
A most excellent Triolet. Wonderful flow and imagery.
Truly my pleasure to read and review.

I enjoyed the mood you created in this triolet. I could visualize the growing darkness and contrasting "points of light". I admired your subtle use of personification and your pure rhymes. Cheers- Joan

Subtle personification of shadows, stars, and constellations, with such phrases as "stake their claim." The photo itself is funny, I guess a writing prompt? Nice job on the triolet form. I think I have only written one, so I have no idea what to improve on.

Hello, w.j.debi, :)

How are you? I'm sorry this is soooo late. I was taking a hiatus from reviewing. A little depression settled in but now it is under control. It was about Flower Power and not feeling supported by people that said they would be there. :) It's letting it go that is full of feelings.

Love your new profile picture of the unicorn.
Take care,
Nome

    Hi Rasmine,
    No problem on the timing. It has to be depressing to work on something for so long and then lose the support. Our characters become like our children and it is hard to let them go. Hang in there. You are a talented writer so keep writing.

    I felt it was about time I put a picture in place and was looking for a picture of a fairy or an elf when I came across this picture of the unicorn and the tiny fairy on its neck. The unicorn looks so much like my own horse (except she is black) that I fell in love with it.

An interesting choice of imagery. I loved your poem and it rhymed perfectly. I enjoyed the words you used in you poem. I mean there are millions of words we could choose and not everyone gets it right! Nice work. PM

Top notch triolet. Thoughts fit well with the picture. You present a problem and give concrete examples of what will beat those shadows. The alliteration of a whispered 's' sound show what a skilled poet you are.

Excellent poem! There are no mistakes in this poem. It is perfect. This particular poem is interesting. It talks about shadows and how the candle is lit and cast deep shadows in the night. Well done!

Cheers, Debi;
=>This is a lovely triolet poem that I really enjoyed and does take specific
characteristics on this style to create such a lovely piece of poetry and you
have done so, so righteously!
=>Debi, did a wonderful job utilizing this Ekphrastic(both expressing each other
words and picture) piece of poetry to match your words with this elegant
picture that I would find particularly difficult to write words for which you seem
to have done it so well.
=>Some very small spags.=>

=>(V1,L1)"... night" (comma)
=>(V1,L3)"...more bright"(comma)

=>Thank you for posting, Debi, and take care and have a good one especially
because He loves you dearly.
