I think this is exceptional! Great use of the 2-4-2 form, and you couldn't have put more meaning and important of a message in so few words... You really put some serious thought into this poem, and it is so meaningful. Extremely effective and powerful write, and in a challenging format in which to make a poem really stand out and say something exceptional!

Thank you for the awesome review and the bonus star. I read your bio and could really relate. I also worked for years at a job that was not condusive to creativity. And I too used to say that I couldn't even draw stick people. But after a painful divorce I began to take art classes and developed enough skills to enable me to be able to call myself a wannabe artist. When I hit a wall with my writing. I set up the easal. It really helps. Just gessod a canvas yesterday

Well --- I am so glad that you found my review did your poem justice, because it really was exceptional... Thank you for sharing part of your story with me, and I emphathize with you, if you could relate to my bio.. that says allot to me... I do the same with my watercolors --- sometimes when the words just don't want to come out, I do start painting.. and it helps to rouse my muse! I totally get words out of my head, and just 'feel' -- which for me, is healing.. to get out of the 'fast lane' and just float with feelings for awhile... I hope to see one of your paintings one day... I can tell they will have great depth and sensitivity to them... no doubt!

This 2-4-2, War of Words, distributes the eight syllables correctly and uses a bit of military jargon to suggest that the reasoning and willingness to listen to differences has been extracted and maybe replaced with bullying and threats.

How could one critique something that lays out such a valid point in only FOUR WORDS!!!! Great job!!! I like that you used acronym to stay within the syllable guidelines yet add several words at the same time in order to make your point. Well written. Well said!!

Very nicely written, author and your use of AWOL is a perfect two syllable word because it most cleverly conceals much more meaning.
