This is a really nice loop poem, illustrated and rhymed well. It's true we can be in a romantic place with just our own company and yet feel satisfied by the romance of the place. Good luck in the contest with this fine entry. Marilyn

I found myself suddenly wishing I has a passport...and some lottery winnings! This poem makes me a wee bit smitten with a place I'd never thought of visiting. Love how you interweave God's "melodic blessings" throughout!

"I'm alone, but I'm not lonely." I don't know who said those words but I like them. Your poem is very romantic and enjoyable to read. Your presentation is excellent as well. This poem makes me want to be more adventuress. Best wishes.

Artasylum,

An excellent contest entry and a great example of a Loop poem. The poem flows well. All the loops are good except one. You may want to correct Atone to alone in the 1st line of the 2nd Stanza.

All the best in the contest.

Eugene

We were in Venice for three days before our cruise back in 2016, it was quite hot, but we had a wonderful time, i remember that very same restaurant, loved the little eateries. The whole thing really, we cruised the the Greek isles, and Turkey, before the Amalfi coast in Italy, then Rome, on to Alsace in France, stayed with friends, then stayed with friends in Germany. Wonderful time. Ohh and wonderful loop poem to embellish my thoughts Diana, well done. Good luck, blessings, Roy

Very nicely arranged and presented. Your "loop" poem flows very smoothly and your commentary about being alone with beautiful melodies that create sensual ecstasy is quite descriptive of your emotions. And the ending, notes that engulf you in God's symphony is very poetic. I have been in St. Mark's Square and it does seem to have a magical quality. Best of luck in the Loop Poetry Contest. Linda

Hello Diana,
You've done the loop poem very well
I think it is difficult to get these to read smoothly
but yours succeeds.

Not sure if this is a typo or and "l"
[CrescendoI] falls to a sustain
I think there may have been an old group with that name.

Great picture to match

Loop for loop, this should be a winner!
Good luck in the contest

Robert

-Very nice image and presentation.
-A well penned poem, diana, with
good rhyme, imagery, and flow of ideas.
-I like this image in the beginning:
"... a gypsy violin is crying"
-The loop is done well, and takes
the reader on a musical journey,
ending with "God's symphony."
-Good luck in the contest.
