Thanks for the awedome review. I really am super sensitive to the onset of both Fall and Winter. In different ways.

Wow...the haiku within this haibun is awesome. I love all of it. I am the dead sea of summer, ha ha...and I only come alive with autumn and winter. Go figure. Loved this!
Blessings...

I really enjoyed your poem, especially the last three lines: smooth sailing
without a few waves
leads to dead sea.
Those words impressed me a great deal. I wish you well.

Glad i'm not the only one. Then when it starts going into winter, untill it takes hold, I literally feel like I am fading. I become very tired and pale. It is really weird. Does'nt last but a few weeks but happens evey year. Am just wondering if maybe Some allergies come into play.

"My love/hate relationship (haibun), is quite a well-written, but more than a little depressing piece. You KEEP WRITING and I'll KEEP READING. I look forward to seeing your next post.

I enjoyed your haibun, Dallas. You did aa good job with its style. I like the 2 parts broken up by the lines of the poem. Your poem sums up your words nicely. One of my favorite lines form them prose is the one with the 'curling' leaves. I love Fall and have never thought of how your well-chosen words fit with your thoughts. I know you don't mean to apply those words to all, but they make sense in the long run. We have more hot weather ahead. Thanks for haring. Jan

I read this four times and still can not connect. I have read your posting before today and found them interesting and thought provoking. This one seems to be overwritten; terms such as "solar Plexus, depths of vulnerability, symbiotic" are used to evoke something, what I am not sure. As I said, I have enjoyed reading your posting, this one left me... well... asking what?

Sorry, it was confusing. I am super sensitive to seasonal changes. Especially Fall and Winter. This is a Haibun form prose snd haiku combination. I really love the beauty but it brings out so many emotions that seem to lie dormant the rest of the year that I actually feel like I am wearing my nerves on the on the surface of my being. It is a great contrast. Those are the feelings I was attempting to convey. Thanks for reading.

A very well-written haibun. When autumn comes we are excited about the colorful array of leaves that are falling from the trees until they are bare, then we know it is the bearer of bad news, winter is on its way.

I found your poem to be very interesting. It held my attention and it flows well with deep thought and emotion. I find beauty in every season. All Seasons have something special to offer humanity. I really like your third stanza and your artwork choice. Try being your most creative within the Season you enjoy the least. That might help. Best wishes!
