Exceptional
This work has reached the exceptional level
Very nice poem. I enjoyed the descriptive words in this poem. I could almost see the bird and the particular scene in my mind. I loved how the bird is thinking and pondering how life was or how it could be if he was not in his cage. (How often we, as humans, do the same thing...living in the future of in the past). The ending shows the bird that life is great right where he is. Thanks for sharing!

Hi Cheryl... thank you so much for your stellar/plus-one review. I'm honored and humbled... I'm with you we all could learn from Redbeak... He has figured out that life doesn't have to be lived future or past he understands that sometimes you just be here now... thanks so much again. yours

A very well-written rhyming poem about the bird waiting patiently for his owner to come home. A very pretty colorful bird that seems to have some intelligence as well.
