You know it should be six. You are the Master of short and sweet and the picture enhances your succinct story. It certainly said everything that needed to be said, as always well done.

-A very nice image, and
a positive story, using
only a few words.
-The spring imagery is effective
in setting the scene and
establishing the mood.
-They were meant to
be together, and so they
said "I do" when spring
turned to fall.
-I was happy to find
a prose piece written
not that long ago.

Thank you, Pam I appreciate your time and review. Is ther some reason you do not want to review my current posting? Bless you, Bob

You are welcome, Bob. Yes, you forget what I had mentioned to you a while back about time constraints, family, etc. Health enters into using the computer too much, too.

Wow! You really scored a bunch of reviews for this. This is a sweetly romantic story. I like that the couple begin their relationship in the spring, a time of renewal and you take it to their wedding in the fall. Those months have given them time to really get to know one another. You show how things evolve. This certainly shows your range. Best of luck in the contest. judi

Thank You, Judi. I used to write a lot of this stuff on here until I got hooked on novel writing. LOL

You're very welcome. There are so many writers on the site that do the romance thing. You've grabbed your corner with the detective genre. judi

Nice - a bit of a departure for you, and a bit different from most flash fiction pieces where people often try to cram in a murder of a surprise ending. This is just a nice, sweet, well-written , old-fashioned love story. Not sure about the capitalization of "spring" and"autumn', but then, I'm not a published author, so what do I know?

Always good to read something new from you.

A mighty sweet and romantic one here my friend. The confirmed bachelor, no more. Never say never is the expression people use. Good use of your 75 words.

Short Sweet and to the point. It is indeed unlike your clive books but still touching and well done. PLus you started off with a nice touch of serenity -- spring. Which I could use about now as the days shorten and the weather goes "bleech"

This is a very well written piece of flash fiction! You did a great job in the telling of a love that unfolded and was realized from one spring to just the autumn. The words you used read nicely. This should do really well in the contest! Great write!

A cleverly condensed love story - a whole summer of passion in 75 words! It seems that the magic of those hot, steamy nights was enough to establish a more lasting commitment!
