Exceptional
This work has reached the exceptional level
The fringe waves do seem to be increasing as fear is increasing and nut-jobs are loose attacking the press, religion and political views. View which they feel don't belong in this world--the world they want to claim, to conform to their strict standards.
It's world wide.
With treaties being broken and/or dismantled, rockets made ready and countries on edge, can the inevitable be stopped? There are too many posers wanting to be the top dog of the world. Ego does not make for peaceful negotiations.

Thank you for another mentally stimulating post, Lance.

Yeah, it's all a terrible thing. It is the decline of western civilization (both of which are great movies, one about punk rock and the other on heavy metal, documentaries that show just how sad and dangerous life in the fast lane is).

Since Trump came into office, we are constantly waiting for the next shoe to fall he seems to keep egging on the bullies of the world and doing nothing to stop them.

And the 'bullies,' unfortunately, seem to be popping up from all of the millions of different sides. We are watching the coming of absolute chaos, all over the world.

Lance, to me your writings are very detailed and an extremely acute to what is on topic, like this one is. Myself I cannot shoot a gun due to a disability, so my point of view is fictional to say. I believe a gun other than one shot is a sign of aggression and should be outlawed. Thanks for your writings.

Well, sometimes you might need an additional shot if you are in immanent danger, but I agree with your point in general. I have become a fierce advocate for gun control with each senseless shooting that distracts us from the news about why these things keep happening. Thank you for your comments.

Very interesting theory(s). I'm waiting for the fear to turn to apathy. Fear is almost unsustainable for lengthy periods of time, without the oxygen of events.

As far as left, right, liberal and conservative - I prefer to use the term authoritarian and egalitarian personalities. Authoritarians tend to be fearful of anything they can't control.

Very interesting, as usual. Zee.

It turns into apathy after something severe happens or it just keeps happening. The day after a psychopathic mad bomber is caught a guy shoots up a synagogue during a baby-naming ceremony and circumcision. And there are people around the world who are cheering this alongside those of us disgusted by the hatred everywhere. It can even be said that we hate those people who hate, finally making no one any better than each other. There is your apathy. It is called acceptance.

Well, Lance, nobody can say you are not topographical, can they? LOL The gun issue will never be resolved to satisfy everybody, will it. I pesonally don't even own one and I was an expert marksman in the Marines for eight years.

I believe anyone who wants one should have ONE. LOL

No need to stock up the Apaches have already been defeated.

Good job, my friend. Bob

Thank you. Some idiot I was basically marketing recordingeditorialhistory.com to threatened to hunt me down because I mocked their homepage. I was a ridiculous photo of presumably them gaping and grinning over an enormous cache of guns. I eventually called them a coward and they predictably replied with the 'I'll show you how much of a coward I am!'

I previously worked for the state department in some pretty scary places. I was shot at with guns filled with rocks and grapeshot and other primitive bullets, get loaded up in soviet era sub machine guns and carbines. I was behind a fence at the American embassy in Somalia, and occasionally I shot back. I know that I hit someone in a tree, who fell and broke their neck. And no matter how justified it may have been, it is still something that haunts me and that I regret.
