Wow, this is haiku, in its brevity, contains many layers. One of the obvious layer is the leaves, one by one, becoming detached from the tree. The leaf is cognizant that soon its time will come to leave and become detached as well. Metaphorically speaking, it could speaks for human nature as well.

This poem is well-done. It is not easy to write a short poem with multiple layers, but you did. Bravo!

This is sad and tragic piece of writing. It is definitely not going to be your time only but millions along. We are all going this way....young or old. Do not make a tragedy of it. Our spirit needs renewing. We are definitely not like a stray autumn leaf falling.

The life of a leaf. Nice Haiku. I have a question, though. In the first line, did you mean, 'its time now over' as in the time of the leaf, or 'it is time now over'? The second one doesn't make much sense. The first one makes more sense as it relates to the leaf in question.
