Dear Anonymous Poet,

Such a joyful look at the life of a child. *sigh But, things just aren't like that anymore and unfortunately, I don't think it is that way for the children of today.

Your entry for the contest is written beautifully and I wish you the best of luck.

Lovely poem of a young girl exploring her environment and finding delight with her discoveries but never too far from home. It made me smile as your poem stimulated my memories as a small child when I would go off for hours exploring the neighbors back yards and gardens, but never late for lunch or dinner. :-) Good job.

This is lovely! Brings back those sweet days of wide-eyed innocence and joy. I can see you now flitting through the garden like a butterfly. And it's a good thing lunch was ready before those dainty little fingers got pricked! Well done.

This is a great contest entry. I enjoyed reading it and saw nothing to improve. Love how you ended it too with reference to thorns. Yes, life has it's thorns as we soon find out, but it's still so beautiful! Blessings, Cathy

A nice poem about the innocence of childhood, and a precious picture to accompany it.
As far as the contest title goes, she was truly saved by the bell.
It's a cute poem, with very mature words in the thoughts of the young child.
I don't quite get your title and explanation above, however.
The premise is good, as life at her age, surely was fun.
Good luck in the contest.
