"You know it is wicked... words can't express how much I love your writing...Ravens high above me, flying, cawing out--their constant crying
kept me moving, I feared dying--trav'ling through those towering trees.
Down the pathway towards salvation, to my home, where hibernation,
I'd indulge, but revelation showed mine eyes they'd come for me."

Have fun... wherever you may...

I don't have a six this week I was super busy giving them all out before reading your fabulous poem and I could hear somehow (The Raven) as I was reading this it was creepy. I don't know why I did that - do you why I did that. I love the rainstorm though. I could just sit here and listen to it. Without looking at the wraths! Also, I waited for a wolf to howl... LOL I think this is a winner for sure!

Awesome. This is certainly not my genre arena, but once started, had to finish. Loved what you did here. The effects are startling and the rain sound amazing. Great job with this. Certainly worthy of a six and highly creative! Good Luck!

Excellent POE etry, author. Your use of strong verbs throughout with a twinge of "Poe esk" drumbeat rhythm is fantastic. I particularly liked this line:

"All within my soul now screaming, "Wake up, man, you're merely dreaming!"

Great job. Good luck to you in the contest. Bob

OH, Wow! Bravo! this definitely has Poe-like qualities. I loved it. Your graphics are awesome as usual. The faces in the clouds are really cool. Hope I'm not the only one seeing that. lmao. The storm sound effects bring it to life. Good luck! Horror Hugs!

Oooh, this is very creepy! I love the rain sound effect along with the graveyard and spirits!! Where do you find your animated art work? This was very well written in so many ways; I can see why you received Poet of the Year award. You did an excellent job on this by all accounts. Glad I stopped by for a visit!

Hello Mystery POE-et,

This is an awesome contest entry. It stands out as something that took special attention to get right. Kind of like putting on your best clothes. I like that you caught the POE flavor very well. You have terrific meter and rhyme choices. Good presentation with the moving ghosts.

I think this will do well in the voting booth, and I wish you well in the contest.

Joy xx

Yes indeed, Edgar Allan P would recognise these dark scenes and that raven. I don't like your summer evening much (the weather, not the poem, which I did enjoy). I am getting more used to your ghosts and ghoulies. I'm so glad you managed to get away, to write more scarey stuff. Hi Dean.
