Its good to discover that you live on a farm. It must be so exciting to find out what exists all around you. And you came out with writing a farm pig story in a few words. I enjoyed reading it. I don't know who would give you a 4; it is not fair. Terry.

    Hi Terry,
    I don't live on a farm.

In this story I am pretending to be a pigeon!

    Thanks,
    Richard

Richard, I enjoyed your dribble (or should I say, Peter's?!)
Loving the indignation of the pigeon...
I like the 'dastardly plan' line and the link to it in the author notes...used to love Dastardly and Muttley of Stop the Pigeon and Whacky Races fame!
Good luck in the contest, best wishes, Debra

    Thanks Debs,

The field of pigs was inspired by Molly watching pigs.

Am researching American Indian spirituality at present, as I need it for my sci-fi script.

[ It was a mistake to diss the Native Indians, as they are the only ones who knew how to save the planet.
We spent a lot of time listening to our teachers. What a mess we're in now. We should have been listening to the Native Indians instead!]
    {If you believe that you're a friend of mine.}

Life as an amateur writer is fun.

    Thanks,
    Richard.

He he he, McDonalds will take them on and welcome them with open arms! He he he, pigs will soon succumb to burgers as easily as cows! I enjoyed your flash fiction, good luck with it, love Dolly x

    Dolly,

Liked your Junk Yard poem, though I'm not supposed to know who wrote it.

Thanks for you generous review of The Field of Pigs. I

t's a piece that I wrote in 20 minutes without much editing.

!idea! I should write flash more often.

    Thanks for your inspiration,

    Richard.

Hi Richard,

This is a cute funny little story.
An interesting mix of metaphors and animals
I almost liked your explanation better than the story. :)

    Thanks Jeanne,
    Have a great day.
    Soon it's the weekend, anyway.
