I love this whale picture, Did you paint it. I too love making things from junk...scrap glass becomes mosaics on windows. It's like painting with light. And it makes me happy . Your poem does too
God bless

Wonderful versification about the tragic plight of our beautiful oceans and the life that it struggles to sustain. Love the artwork, as whales are a passion of mine. You have created a gem here with just a few words and a world of emotion. I like this very much!

I can only tell you what this meant to me and hoping I am close to what you intended. If not this is the take I had on the poem anyway, which is good that I took something from it! My take on this is Ocean life abounds with life that is being suffocated by the rubbish in the ocean. Soon it will not team with life anymore. Very sad and it made my heart skip a beat thinking about it. I hope to start we can ban those pesky plastic bags and somehow gather them up and save some of our wildlife it is killing. To me this ewas told very well.

An accurate contrast, neatly expressed in six words. This can be read in two ways, either as a comment on the sea or on the plight of the whale, especially now so many countries are considering pulling out of the agreement.

Hi Tracy,
It's a rare thing for me to award 6 stars for such a short poem. BUT.. you have totally nailed this contest with your entry. For me, it couldn't be more perfect.
Strong message, no messing, but still poetic.
Good Luck!
Debs x

Very powerful message conveyed in this 6 word poem. I live in Hawaii, and the ocean trash washes up on many of our beaches and harms many forms of sea life. I think the first word of your poem should be "teeming" meaning full of something. Not "teaming". Good luck with the contest!

    Good morning to you, Stephanie

Thank you for your review and picking up on that spelling mistake.

    Since corrected.

Sadly, many of the seas and oceans are awash with our rubbish.

    :(

    kind regards

Are you referring to the pollution in our oceans Tracey? We are guilty as charged on this account. I wish you luck with the contest, food for thought here, love Dolly x

Sublime writing for this tiny poetry format -- a vital message delivered with such passion. "Teaming". "Suffocating". Wow. One of the best six word poems I've ever read, and it happens to be a favorite rant of mine as well.

Best of luck in the contest with this gem.

We have a great deal to answer for. I decided a long time ago I don't like humans very much. I guess there are a few exceptions.

Anyway, a strong message, well presented. Best of luck in the contest, Tracey.

Sadly, I'm rather glad that I'm on my way out rather than just arrived here. So terribly sad what the human race has done and continues to do.

    kind regards
