Pam, this is a most enjoyable little read. I can see it being part of a story book for children. It illustrates that friendship comes in many forms and responsibilities and being kind is part of life. A sweet picture and read. ~DD

Love the line about the snowman finding the warm temperatures a wee bit unhealthy for him. I'd say that's about right. Just lovely subtle humour there.

This is perfect for children of all ages Pam. :)

Thank you for the exceptional rating and review, Gloria. I am glad you liked the story, and the snowman dealing with warm temperatures! He had snow a few days ago, but it feels like spring now, and the snow is gone. Crazy weather all winter.

Well crafted and tells the story from two different perspectives. An enjoyable read that reflects while two people may be different they are also very much alike.

Awwwwwwww! What a sweet story for little ones, and it teaches too; too many things to list. I think that's terribly important in writing for children, and the lessons are all good ones in your story. I enjoyed this very much, and it just might have sparked an idea for a children's story for me. I seldom write them, although I do have a couple of kid's books out. One is for very young kids (an illustrated story book in rhyme), and the other a transition book. Thank you for sharing this charmer!

This was an enjoyable read, Pam. It had a really nice flow to it and I thought the characters were believable and perfect for a children's story. Good ending as well. Nice job.

Hi Pam,

This is such an adorable children's story! I really enjoyed the read and, while I was doing so, could imagine little ones laughing about Dee's hat. :-)

A wonderful story to teach inclusion in celebrating uniqueness, versus exceptionalism and hatred.

Very nicely done.

Thanks for sharing,

Jan

Hi Pam,isn't this just too sweet. I loved your story and the dialogue between the two of the. Not only is it fun, but you can also learn from it, which is the whole point of writing for children. But I learn as well. Great story. Warm regards. Ulla:)))

Cute story and ideal for pre-schoolers too, I would think, Pam. You have done a lot with the picture in terms of dialogue between these two. One has to wonder what birds are saying when they chirp and what not during the better weather. Bless you. Thanks fo sharing. Bob

A great story that I did enjoy reading. A different perspective from two separate beings on the snow. You gave it color with the discussion of the hates. I didn't find any spag. Have a blessed afternoon. Shirley
