Liberty--
No, not from me, not an amen. Oh, a congrats, perhaps. But I'm not the "amen, brothers and sisters" type, which I'm sure you would know from what I write. Even if our Jack did get religion I don't think it needs to be prominent in the poem. I sort of like his "badness" a bit and I think you do too. So maybe in one life Jack got caught and hung out to dry out, in another he crashed his pretty ass and in a third, okay, he got religion and, well, in a fourth he said to himself, "I gotta be smart if I'm gonna me." I quibble with a couple of word choices like: "sped zoomed away" but otherwise it's a fine poem.

I like your gumption. That's an old fashioned word, I like your "animus." I do not know how to help you here. I have two books out, one poetry. self published. The other dreams and not self published but on a really skimpy budget. I should probably try to sell these on Amazon but the reports from there, those that go that route are discouraging. It is not a writers world. What I am trying to do to combat this is to refresh the purpose of writing and art and re-declare or prove that it is not just window-dressing, but powerful, necessary
However, the publishing and other words seem to have been so successfully taken over by the computer, cell phones and all that means so that the battle line has changed more to the "technological singularity" as envisioned in the Terminator movies, say, for me. So, I do not know how to help you here. Me buying your book from Amazon will help a bit but not solve the problem. Want to buy mine? I doubt it unless what I say is mindbendingly important. So, just talk to me about this if you can. It is a problem all writers, no matter their content. face.

I simply do not have the information you seek. There are others on this site who might have it. I might suggest rspoet, Mastery, probably others who have books for sale. There are quite a few. As I said, when I have some sixes I will take a longer look at your portfolio.
