I figured it out there is not the use of a word such as A or The I think that is it! Do I have it this time? I have to run so I will check back later. But I looked this time in the poem more clearly and realized those items are missing. Cheers, Fonda

    Fonda,

The conundrum is not the car.
The car and the pic is a complete decoy.

Yes it is me, so not a selfie.

The conundrum is: Why does this poem look so odd?

Have another go, during gaps of editing. Some light relief.

    Thanks,

    Richard

Of course with my innocence, I could not find the mystery in this poem. But the way I read it, it sounded to me like a symphonic poem. How are you doing? I hope great. Terry xoxo I still think you deserve my six stars.

    Can you see it?

    Thanks,

I heard the old engine struggle to get going in your words here, the coughing and spluttering of one of those ancient engines! But I have no idea what is queer about these words, love Dolly x

    Christine,

Keep looking! It's so obvious. Why are the words so strange? There is a good reason.

    Thanks,

    Richard.

This is an interesting poem. It is called a lipogram. A lipogram is written without a certain letter. The letter that is missing is and I

    Hi Pat,

No, that's not quite the answer.

    Look again.

It's a lot more cunning than that.

You are on the right track though.

    Thanks,

    Richard.

LOL!
I haven't a clue, Richard.... but it made me laugh!
Is it something to do with all the b's and g's??
The 'bogus burps' brought a smile to my face - reminded me of my family LOL
Nice pic - is that you with the car or a random smiley chap?
Can't wait to here what is going on with this poem...!
Debs :)

    Debs,

Your daughters will get it quicker.

They practise every day, five days a week.

    In learning mode.

Used to looking at things that are new to them.

Put it to all your family. See who gets it first.

It's only easy when you see it.

    No clues now!

    Ha ha ha!

    Thanks,

    Richard.

PS Have had 3 replies. No one got it! Hee hee hee!

You only used the vowels o and u (apart from the a in grabs) ??
    Hate not knowing lol
