Hi Liberty, she had a massive stroke...after that she wasn't able to write anymore...so she went to be by her daughter...I talked to her about three times...she said remembered me...she was a wonderful teacher...and a wonderful friend...I miss her so much...but she is in Heaven with Michael Cahill...and many other FanStory poets...May They All Rest In Peace....thank you sweet girl for a wonderful review...and all your wonderful stars...I am doing well...it is one day a time for us all...I how you are doing well too...God Bless....love you...Linda xxoo

Not yet exceptional. When the exceptional rating is reached this is highlighted

"Dandelions In Heaven", is an exceptionally well-written and wonderfully fitting tribute, to a wonderful writer and teacher. Over the years she taught me so very much. When I think of alliteration, I think of Brooke. Now with God, she'll truly be at rest. I wish I had a seven for this talented poet. Unfortunately I only have fives left.

Beautiful write. I had to change my review a little here as I realized it wasn't you Brooke spoke to about my poetry, but Flylikeaneagle, so I appologise for the mix up, yet, so beautiful is this written it is more than worthy of the words, and a pleasure to read.
She was special to us, dear friend, as she was to many others.

Hi Linda,

Oh, this is such a loving and sweet tribute to your dear friend who has passed away. I am sorry I didn't have the opportunity to get to know Brooke as I've recently returned to the site after being away for 10+ years.

From your notes, I gather you are aware that there is a lot of white space before and after your text. Have ypu tried editing and backspacing or deleting before and after text? Blank space doesn't always show up in edit mode.

Best of the best indeed. I was proud to call her my friend, and yes, I even wrote a poem about a man who enjoyed mowing dandelions as a gentle tease on the topic.

I can well remember how stunned all Fanstorians were when she was first taken from us by a seemingly inexplicable disease, and now we get to mourn all over again.

Linda: did you take any classes from Brooke? I took her children poetry
one on one class. She loved Sawyer and dandelions and worms that smiled.
Yes, classy lady and always ready to help us. Her poems were always
well written. She spent hours on FS and adored everyone. I'm sure she

Linda, this is such a beautiful tribute to Brooke. I am sure so few of us are left that remember her. She was not only a great poet but an excellent mentor. It's odd how attached you can get to someone you've never met through their writings. I remember her love of Sawyer like it was yesterday. I only hope her passing was peaceful and without pain.
