This piece sits heavily on my heart today, as I mourn the passing of one of my dearest friend here on FS. Brooke Baldwin, loved dandelions in a way that many others did not. She was my mentor, my teacher and my inspiration. She taught me lessons about writing that benefit me greatly down to this day. I will always love her and I celebrate her memory today and forever.

Brooke would applaud your brevity here...sating the essential and lacing the depth of it in between the lines. Brooke's kindness and poetry will live on in Fanstorian history and hearts.

I thought of writing a three liner very similar in theme and scope, but I don't have time to answer reviews (or do many reviews) just now. I know Brooke knows my heart pays tribute in its own way.

    Ah, you fooled me! Your other title was Into the Wind. Same words and yet it felt different. Lol.

This is another excellent poem that is a fitting tribute to an amazing poet and lady. Although an illness took her away from FS here a few short years ago, she has never been forgotten. I've missed her. At least now she is pain-free and happy. Excellent, Bill. :) Sandra xx
